It’s the end of another week in quarantine. That means another week of homeschooling. Another week of to-do lists unaccomplished. And another week of a messy house. And a week to clean up duplicates.
Anyone with me??
To lift my spirits, I decided this week to try something new. Welcome to the Friday Five! I needed a little pick me up, so here is my way of sharing some of the positive in my life right now! Every week I’m going to attempt to share five of my favorite things/places/activities from the week! So if you need a brain break, here are some of the things I am loving!!
I wrote about Adobe Bridge in this blog post. I am working on my family yearbook this week and have been using Bridge to delete all of the bad images and clean up duplicates. I only use it once a year when I do my photos books, and I forgot how amazing it is!! Go check out my blog about it if you are sorting images this weekend! It will save tons of time, and it is a FREE program.
p.s. If you are a member of the Family Yearbook Bootcamp, I add a section to your dashboard with a video tutorial for how to use it!
Below are a few of my favorites from 2019. I love going through all of my images! It is so easy to forget how little they were!
Since I am making our Family Yearbook this week with Mixbook, I noticed they are having a major sale! You can get 50% off + 10% off Everything with code CHERISH. The sale ends Monday, so this would be the perfect weekend to get your yearbook done! It’s crapy outside anyway! I am almost done with mine and can’t wait to order it!! Fingers crossed for no shipping delays!!
Since we are stuck at home, I have been taking this time to take care of my skin! The Ordinary Peeling Solution is a new purchase, but I love it so much!! My skin is so soft after I use it and I love the red color! I use it twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday) in the evenings. Try it out and let me know what you think! It will brighten your day and skin!!
I posted about these in my stories a few days ago. I found this company on Instagram and finally pulled the trigger to purchase one for each of my kids. We got the Ice Cream Kit and the Dragon Kit. The Easter Bunny was supposed to deliver these, but with shipping delays, they didn’t come on time. Regardless, the kids have played with them every day since they arrived. So if you need some alone time, this is a great activity to keep them busy while you watch an episode of your favorite show or catch up on work!
I just ordered this on Amazon for my daughter’s birthday. I sent a text to some of my girlfriends for gift ideas, and three moms recommended it. Stella loves crafts, so I know it will be a huge hit! It projects images on paper that they can trace and color. There are tons of picture options, and you can order additional sim cards in different themes too! I will keep you posted on what she thinks!
That’s all for this week! I hope the Friday Five brightens your day just a little! If you have to pick one thing to do I would clean up duplicates with Adobe Bridge. It is so rewarding! If you have things you are using to stay sane, I would love to hear about them!! Drop them in the comments below so everyone can enjoy!
